Buckingham Palace

18 rooms are available to view including the Throne Room.

The famous changing of the Palace Guard is at 11.30 am daily during the summer months (on alternate days during the rest of the year).

Westminster Abbey has stood at the heart of the capital for centuries. Since 1066 virtually every British sovereign has been crowned here and for centuries it was the burial place of kings and queens.

Famous is Poets' Corner. Some of the most famous buried here are Charles Dickens and Thomas Hardy. A short walk from the abbey will take you to the largest and most important Roman Catholic church in England - Westminster Cathedral.

The second biggest dome in the world, after St Peter's in Rome, St Paul's is spectacular both inside and out. Try climbing the 627 steps for a bird's eye view of London.

Very special is the Whispering Gallery where the acoustics cause whispers to echo all around the dome.
